REcord to a NAS device

Is it possible to record to a NAS if its a complete wired connection?
PC to router to NAS.

Not supported by SS. You can record to a local drive and then move everything over manually or through script or with showsqueeze (move) function

I believe that recoding to NAS was added in 4.7 I certainly know that I tested it

I always use UNC paths and have always had issues with mapped drives. Here is the statement from the release notes:

But only with 4.7.1...not 4.6 correct?


It (4.6) handles attached eSATA drives, right?

Recording to a mapped or UNC drive in any version before 4.7 never worked for me. I think that it worked for some, but I don't think that it was officially supported until 4.7

eSATA works, as far as the system is concerned the hard drive is just like an internal one.
