what tuner is used

Is there any way to display what tuner is scheduled to record a program when listing upcomming recordings? I'd rather not have to go an view/edit every show.

Thanks

Re: what tuner is used

I'm going to make an educated guess and suggest that the actual tuner being used isn't selected until the recording time has arrived. The preferred order of tuner selection can be changed in web admin.

If you think about it logically it has to wait until the recording is ready to run.

Let's say you have two tuners. And neither one busy when the recording is started. Just before the recording starts, BTV will see both are available and choose the one at the top of the priority order to do the recording.

Maybe that might be tuner #1.

Now imagine that you are USING tuner #1 to view live TV and the recording is started. Now BTV will use the next available tuner or tuner #2.

The viewing, new scheduled recordings and all are real time events, that can (and do) happen right up to the moment of a scheduled recording session. So the choice of which tuner to use is dependant on the environment at the moment ... unless you specify otherwise in advance.

Re: what tuner is used

What you said is true. I would expect it to say auto unless you had selected a specific tuner. I have found widget that will do what I want. Just need to modify it to put the tuner number or auto in the display. It will take awhile since I don't really know java.
I've got it to the point that it knows the duner but will only display it if I put the mouse over the program name.

Thanks
