Volume OSD - Anyway to Disable?

Hi

I'm converting my Girder setup to LM Remote and was wondering if there is a way to turn off BTV's Volume OSD so I can use LM Remotes OSD exclusively?

Thanks

No you can't. What I was doing when still using BTV was positionning my OSD volume just over the BTV Volume OSD (and of course choose the BTV skin for my OSD).

Regards,
Stéphane.

Re: Volume OSD - Anyway to Disable?

Is there a way to make the LM Remote Volume OSD pop in instead of fade in so as not to blend in with the BTV OSD?

Thanks

No, the only thing you can do is choose the final transparency level.

Is it possible to drag the volume bar offscreen?

How about editing the actual graphics set that BTV uses to make it null or invisible? You would have to leave the graphic in place so BTV won't barf if it can't find it .. but I'm sure you can make it transparent or use some other imaging editing to make it non-visible.

When they say that you can "drag the (BTV) volume bar", they only mean you can use the mouse on the volume bar to modify the volume, but not moving the whole volume bar to a new place.

That's a really good idea! Thanks. I will try that. I use Meedio with BTV and like the fact that I might be able to have a consistent volume OSD between apps. The only thing holding me back now is that I can't find a way to make LM Remote execute BAT files hidden with no pop up.

Re: Volume OSD - Anyway to Disable?

IF this will help, here is where the graphics are stored. (From my memory)

Program Files/SnapStream Media/BeyondTV/FSMedia/Images.

By the way ... everytime you install a BTV update this whole folder gets re-written. I use a custom viewscape (Red) to match my home theater decor. And everytime I do an update the update changes my Red setup back to the default colors. It's not a big deal as I have the Red files saved and just re-copy them. But you should take note that if you change any of those graphics, the next update will change them back.
