Twinhan 878 dtv tuner card and btv
I was wondering if anyone was using this card with btv 4, and what are your thoughts. when i run btv 4 it seems to take up all my cpu usage, is this caused by my card? i am running a pent. 4 2.66, with 2 gb ram and eithy gb hard drive. any thoughts?......

Never even heard of it. Must be fairly obscure. If it is a software encoding tuner, then yes, chewing up your CPU is normal.
I tried their website, but couldn't find anything on it. The page for manuals is empty.

Well i suppose i just have an old card and need to upgrade to something that has its own hardware encoder. any suggestions? ive been looking at hauppage but they are kinda expensive. is there a decent cheap card?
