Editor for TAG/Metadata that is compatible with BTV4

I am looking for an application that will allow me to edit the Metadata information that BTV uses. The web interface that is built into BTV can be a pain at times. It says it updates the information but when viewing it again in the web, it is not updated. Although viewing on the TV with BTV it shows as being updated.

The reason I looking for this is I put the kid’s videos in the BTV library for the wife, it is easier for her watch when ever she wants and when company is over. And it would be a lot nicer if I could fill in all the options and be able to read all the options available. I am not opposed to a web interface if it had all the options available and didn’t have certain filters set limiting what I can use.

I'm not sure I understand why the webadmin isn't showing you all of the options and not updating for you. I use webadmin when just editing info for a single show. But, if you're editing metadata for multiple recorded shows, look no further than BTVShowInfo. You can download it and read the forum posts about it HERE.

I wrote about how it works with some screenshots on my blog a while back if you're interested, but the program is really easy to use. Highly recommended.

Alternatively, you can use BTV-Negociator (link in my signature) if you simply want to change the title and/or episode title. You can also copy the informations from another file, a recent recording, a search by title/keyword, a search through IMDB and such...
