BTV with Pure Video HD

I just purchased a Biostar TF7050-PV motherboard with built in Geforce 7050 w/HDMI output.
HDMI audio is only supported in Win Vista of course and I was thinking of upgrading since this Geforce TF7050-PV also supports Pure Video HD which is included in the display drivers for vista only (as of now anyway)

I love how the Picture looks with my Pure Video decoders I use now with XP and BTV. I use hardware accelerated and deinterlace with a 7950gt right now.

Unfortunatly the standard PV decoder that I purchased does not work with vista (only PV HD) and would like to know if anyone using Vista is using BTV with Nvidia PV HD drivers.

I plan on getting a combo HD-DVD/Blue ray drive soon so I will have to use the PV HD anyway.

Is is selectable like the current PV.

Re: BTV with Pure Video HD

I thought PureVideo HD is only supported by the 8600, 8500 and 8400? I know they released some beta drivers that support those cards in XP w/ PV HD.

You are correct that the only Video cards that support PureVideo HD is 8400,8500,8600.

But it is also supported by onboard video of my BBiostar Geforce 7050-PV
at least that what is says! "Best in class performance with Pure video HD over HDMI"
