Looking for Episode Number and Series Number information

Hey guys, here is a little background on what I'm doing. I'm currently running the latest 3.x verison of BTV for my television recordings. I am using Meedio as my frontend and importing my BTV recordings into a Meedio library.

What I'm trying to find out is if I can somehow find out the Episode number and Season number for each of my recordings. I see that there is a EPGID, but I can't make sense of what these numbers are referenced to. I did read that the first characters specify movie/showtype, then the next six are the season number, and finally the remaining are the episode number. I'm wanting to use the information at thetvdb.com to reference these recordings, but the EPGID data doesn't seem to match up. Can someone tell me what these EPGID numbers are and how I can reference them?

Many thanks!

Are you doing this manually? If so, I use www.epguides.com and just look up the episode title.

I'm not sure how I need to approach this. Here's an example:

The Twilight Zone (Title)
Mr. Garrity and the Graves (Episode Title)
EP0191100047 (EPGID)

From epguides.com:
http://www.epguides.com/TwilightZone/

Episode # Prod # Air Date Episode Title
152. 5-32 2637 8 May 64 Mr. Garrity and the Graves

From tv.com:
http://www.tv.com/the-twilight-zone/...8/summary.html

Episode Number: 152 Season Num: 5 First Aired: May 8, 1964 Prod Code: 2637

From thetvdb.com
http://www.thetvdb.com/?tab=episode&...d=119400&lid=7

Episode Number 32
Production Code 2637

How can I derive the Episode number (32 in the above example)? I can't see that it is part of the EPGID. If it is not, what can I reference the EPGID to to get this information?

Re : Looking for Episode Number and Series Number information

Normally, the last 4 digits of the EPGID do give you the production number. As for why in this particular there is no relation between 47 and any of the actual numbering, I'm not sure. They might have recreated another series ID for some "best of" or something, messing up the numbering...
