Recording one show with multiple view times

Hello, I saw this posting:
Recording one show with multiple view times

which discusses the problem that I am having, but not the solution.

I am trying to record the Daily Show and The Colbert Report. They come on in my area 4 times during the day, the orginal show at 11:00 PM, the repeats at 12:00 AM, 10:00 AM and 8:00 PM the following day. If I choose to only record the new shows, the oringal shows get missed as the data in the guide doesn't always show these as new shows (even when they are).

I have a similar problem when recording a news show at 8:00 PM, which replays at 12:00 AM the next morning. It never shows a new show, even though it is a new episode every day, as it is a news program.

Any thoughts instead of putting it in manually, which is what I have been doing?

Thanks.

Re: Recording one show with multiple view times

You can take a look at the thread:

Combined "Max Shows"/"Keep Until I delete it" Feature!

by combining Max Shows number and my addon, that would probably do what you want.
