BTV 4.6.1 (Express) + HVR-1600 != OTA + Coaxial ?

Hi all --

I hope this has not been addressed as I've searched the forums,
read over most topics that seem like they could relate but with different
hardware or anything which I felt was remotely like my (simple) scenario
but to no avail.

My problem is that I cannot get BTV to recognize my HVR-1600 as having
two tuners. All it sees is the analog. I've attempted removing all sources,
installing sources (both via webpage and BTV Setup Wizard) and neither, no
matter the order (per this thread's thought that maybe order matters) will
result in the "Antenna (Digital)" to become un-greyed out.

I have the latest available driver for my HVR-1600, running Vista Business
32-bit, and BTV 4.6.1 Express. I surely hope that the answer is not just
that the "Express" version will not support it, I'd feel very dumb.

Can anyone provide any sort of thoughts on this? My next thought is to
uninstall the card and all software, then move the card to a different PCI
slot, but I'm hoping to not do that. Thank you in advance.

Re: BTV 4.6.1 (Express) + HVR-1600 != OTA + Coaxial ?

Since nobody else has chimed in I will offer my guess. I couldn't find any specs on BTV Express but I think it may have a single tuner limitation (which versions 3.x and prior of the full BTV product also had).

I would recommend uninstalling BTV Express and downloading and installing the trial version of the full featured BTV 4.6.1.

Good Luck

Thumbs up Re: BTV 4.6.1 (Express) + HVR-1600 != OTA + Coaxial ?

gerhrd911 -- Thank you for chiming in, I appreciate it. You are correct. I
was afraid of that. I had downloaded the trial last night as a last-resort.
And, that's what it came down to. Now my Digital shows up with the trial.
I suppose now I'll actually have to purchase this awesome software, <sigh>.
I was just hoping to ride the "Express" until a BTV v5.x.x and then purchase.

Thanks again!

As a side thought, SnapStream should post the limitation of the "Express"
somewhere --- unless I missed it in some of its documentation somewhere?
