BTV and SDTV

Hello,

I have a 36" CRTV with component / svideo jacks.

I just built a BTV dedicated box.

I tried hooking up my BTV box via component and it didn't take long
for me to realize you need a HDTV for it to look right if your going to
use component connection.

I then tried s-video and it looks like crap.

Any suggestions? (other than by a $600 HDTV)

ATI Radeon 9800 Pro with DVI out to Component adapter (lowest I can go is 480i)

Re: BTV and SDTV

Perhaps if you could define exactly what part "looks like crap", you'll get some help.
