Unhappy HVR-1600 no SD Picture

I have an Avermedia 150 and it installed fine. I just got the HVR-1600 and the HDTV part works but the SD cable part seems to have problems. In set-up after you choose the cable line up or analog tv line up. I get no picture when testing just a black screen. I had the same problem with the all in wonder and sent it back. The software that came with it shows both the analog and digital programs just fime. However SS does not. Yes, I do have version 4.6 installed. Any help please?

Can you describe the steps/options that you chose in the setup wizard for the analog tuner ?

Wink Re: HVR-1600 no SD Picture

Even though the HVR-1600 will not show a display during testing. It does work fine when used to view or record OTA or off cable (no QAM). So I guess the Beyond TV software has a glich with this card. I can disable the first card Avermedia 150 and still have the same problem when running the wizard (no display during testing). However the card works when viewing and recording. The Avermedia 150 works fine ( I can view during during testing) . I had the same problem with the all in wonder and took it back because I thought it was the card. Man, if I knew it was the software I whould have kept it since i got it at 40 % off retail...

Glad it worked out. Must be something with Hauppauge because the 350 used to do the same thing
