HDTV resolution issues (Aspect Ratio)
I seem to be having issues displaying HDTV at 720P resolution. For some reason when I have BTV (Aspect Ratio) set to Auto I get a 4:3 Pic. I have to set it to 'Stretch' for it to fill up the screen.
Please note I have no problem outputting 720P to my TV, since all the BTV info and menu options properly fill up the screen. Its only the actual picture of the HD that is not filling up. My hardware 2.4 AMD 3000+ Video X1650PRO Hauppage Win-HVR 1600 TV Panny 52 Connection component at 1280X720.. Last edited by UNhooked; 04-24-2007 at 12:00 PM.

If you have a 19:9 tv:
IF you are watching a 4:3 source then auto will put it with bars on the left and right. If you are watching a 16:9 source then auto will put filling up the screen.
