Problems with SmartSkip

I am running v4.6 I have SmartSkip enabled but it is not working. The markers are missing on the time bar at the bottom. It had been working fine and then simply stopped. No changes had been made.

Any ideas will be appreciated

Do you have any errors in the log or on the Showsqueeze status page on Web Admin ?

Do you have SmartSkip to generate immediately? or later?

There is no mention of it in the logs.

I see the smartchapter generator showing failure, but no indication why.

I have tried setting it for immediate and to run later.

Does this happen to every show? sd/hd? What happens when you restart the job? What are your specs?

This may not be the answer you're looking for, but I quit using BTV's Smartchapter generation because it was not very accurate. I started using Comskip to generate smartchapter files and it has been FAR more accurate and faster.

I have instructions for this in a write up I did. The link is in my sig.

*EDIT* My write-up includes steps for video fixing and commercial removal, but these are optional. If you only want to do commercial detection, you can just use the Comskip portion of the instructions.
