PBS Digital Schedule incorrect - how to fix?

Howdy all. I live in Colorado Springs, CO, and am having a bit of trouble w/ the local PBS station and it's digital broadcast.

My local PBS is broadcast out of Pueblo, CO and is Rocky Mountain PBS / KTSC Channel 8/8.1.

The scheduling information from SnapStream is correct for the non-digital PBS. The schedule for the digital channel is identical. Note, I see the same scheduling info from my local cable provider for both digital and non-digital, and also browsing the PBS website, and any other tv scheduling website I've looked at (TV guide, TitanTV, etc)

However, the digital channel does NOT broadcast the same schedule the non-digital channel does. I actually called the local PBS station about this, and they confirmed they were seeing the same thing - the digital broadcast does not match their scheduling information. However, they had no idea why, or how to fix it, or where I could get correct scheduling information for the digital broadcast.

So, today, I was browsing the PBS website to see if there was maybe a single national "PBS HD" feed that was being rebroadcast. While browsing through various schedules, there was a link off to the side saying "note: Pueblo Digital (KTSC DT-8) listings are now available". Clicking this link took me to the web page and schedule for Wyomings PBS station, KCWC and their digital broadcast. Low and behold, it does appear to match what is playing on my local digital broadcast!

So, my question is, how can I get the schedule for this PBS channel (Wyoming KCWC Digital, 4.2) to show up in place of the schedule for my PBS channel? I'm using SnapStream.net for scheduling, but I don't see any way I can customize my lineup to include that channel. It appears that through the channel setup in BTV I can select to add a channel, but it's not evident where or if it will pull the schedule from?

Is there any way this can be done? I would be *so* grateful if someone could point me in the right direction.

Thanks!

submit a trouble ticket to snapstream. They will then contact the guide provider to see what they can do.

First, thanks for your response. Second, a bit of clarification.

-I have not submitted any information as the article you reference says to submit information for an incorrect lineup. My lineup itself is fine, it's the guide data for one channel that is incorrect.

-I am using two lineups. The first is basic analog cable (no box) and works perfectly. The second is OTA HD Broadcast, which is the one I'm having issue with.

-The lineup shown by BTV is correct. It shows channel 1081(8.1) as KTSC, which is correct. The problem is that the guide data for this channel is incorrect.

-This problem is not limited to BTV's guide data. My local cable provider shows the exact same (incorrect) guide data as BTV. So does tvguide.com, TitanTV, and even PBS's own website. Ie, the guide data provided by the local PBS station is incorrect for this broadcast.

-I have located another PBS station in another city (KCWC-HD/4.2 out of Wyoming) whos' guide data perfectly matches what is currently being broadacst by KTSC out of Pueblo, CO. (I suspect that my local PBS station KTSC is just rebroadcasting the digital/HD signal from KCWC, and is mistakenly re-using the guide data from their non-digital broacast)

-I would like to find some way I can use the guide data from KCWC-HD/4.2 in place of the guide data provided for KTSC. However, I still need to actually tune KTSC 1081/8.1.

Is there any way I can accomplish this?

OMG. Submit a trouble ticket. That's how you can accomplish this. If your experiencing this, then I'm sure someone else is also.

Or you can have another lineup with just that channel. Choice is yours.

Re: PBS Digital Schedule incorrect - how to fix?

I'm just curious... can you get the digital PBS from both Denver and Pueblo, and are they the same? I sure do miss living in CO -- the best local PBS programming ever!

I currently only get the national PBS feed via digital OTA and have to settle for local programming in SD.
