Annoying Guide with Analog and Digital channels

Anybody have any reccomendations?

I have two Analog tuners, and i just added an HD digital tuner. Everything works great, but i am finding the guide a real pain.

I am currently only receiving over-the-air channels, so my digital channels and analog channels are showing the same shows (pretty much). So, my issue is this: If i want to see if i am recording House, it would be much easier if the analog and digital FOX channels were next to eachother in the guide, instead of me having to scan through all the analog channels before i get to the digital ones. - Know what i mean?

Is there any way to customize or reorder the way channels show up in the guide?

Even better....

Is there a way to set a recording to choose HD based on the priorities listing? So if CSI: NY is on at the same time as House but House is a higher priority - can it just assume i would want House in HD? Am i just dreaming?

Re: Annoying Guide with Analog and Digital channels

I can't help with the guide part but I have dealt with the hd-vs-analog aspect for a while now. When I didn't have enough HD tuners to satisfy my HD appetite, what I did was schedule the shows on the HD part of the guide and then set them to 'any channel' with the 'view and edit details' page. If there happened to be a conflict where the tuner was kept busy on a higher priority recording, BTV would record the show on an analog channel.

If it is still working like that you could give it a try.
