Problem with 4.6

I was using 4.5 for a while( though there were some problems with that too), but as the second Tuner is WinTV-PVR1600 I upgraded to 4.6 for the support as individual tuners.

Now, first problem, I have winfast XP 2000 Expert TV Tuner card which is software card,( good for video streaming). It has been working fine, but once I upgraded to 4.6 it can not tuner that tuner at all. It recognizes in the setup, but can not show video, or let me select audio in the setup. It is standard WDM Tuner, so every video software sofar worked with this Tuner. What is so problem to work with standard WDM video!!? TV Quality also not that good in either versions as everything is timeshifted unnecessary.

So, what happend to 4.6? It went back and forth and 4.5 works. So, it is specific to 4.6.

2nd, Video de-interlace problem, if I select Snapstream Video SP decoder, the I see too much Interlace problem, and it continues even if select CyberLink, Nero, and even nVidia decoder. Including Hardware decoder. But if I select Snapstream Basic Decoder, then I do not see interlace problems, but I picture is not as good and also HDTV programs only display in a small box in the Beyond TV scape!!?

Can you guys provide a fix for this as soon as possible.

Re: Problem with 4.6

I may have an answer to one of your small issues, you said HD display in a small box. If you have a 4:3 monitor/tv, and you are watching HD, a 16:9 show will be fine (letterboxed), however 4:3 shows on the same channel will be in a box. You fix this by clicking the little tool icon and changing the aspect ratio to pillarbox. Change it back to auto for widescreen shows and channels that don't ever use widescreen.

Hmm, I just did that, but I did not see any changes. I even restarted BTV to see if that is needed, but no use. BTW this only happens with SnapStream Basic Decoder, any other decoder works fine with HDTV. The reason I am using Basic decoder is interlace problems with analog TV and also 2nd monitor problem. Using other than basic decoder is causing lot of interlacing artifacts with full screen.
