PVR-150 IR Blaster Issue

When I went back to look at the responses for this, I realized that I placed it in the wrong forum. Sorry for that. If there was a way to move it I would.

First let me say that everything else works. I have used this system with glee and happyness for months. Up to now I have been changing the channel with my SAT remote. So here I am trying to get this part to work.

Does the IR blaster 'blink' when you change a channel?

Sounds like a simple question, but I there is a reason for asking the obvious.

I installed everything right - more than once. Got another ir blaster to plug into my card from the company and to date the light will not blink.

It is firmly in the slot, I did uninstall everything before updating the drivers. The light does breifly blink when you plug the end in.

Another idiot question - WHAT AM I MISSING?

Any troubleshooting help would be appreciated.
