what to buy
i'm thinking of switching from the HDTV comcast DVR to a PC and beyond TV. what bundle would i need to buy to most closely duplicate the comcast DVR capabilities?
maybe there's a sales document somewhere that can explain some of this? any help would be appreciated.

You can record HDTV from over the air only at this time, this is because Comcast and others do not let you record HD quality off their service. Cablecard is coming out but it will be limited to vista mce prebuilt machines and will have the same restrictions as comcast dvr's. You can record SD quality from your set top box, in that case any of the tuners listed in the Snapstream bundles with s-video in would work.

Also QAM support (unencrypted from your cable provider) may be coming soon via the HDHomeRun device.
