Major stutter issue with Link 4.6

I installed link 4.6 as I now have a separate server and client box. Previously I only had one machine so never really needed link but now I do…
Unfortunately the link client does not work correctly as during playback there is major stutter where the video completely stops for up to 10 seconds and depending on the file (I have both digital and analog recordings) it will either continue and come back at 10 seconds or will go to the very end of the file as if the show completed. I have looked at task manager and have seen that the networking performance jumps up to over 50% during this stutter. I have not delved deeper into the issue since I have had little time but will try to get some netmon dumps to see what is happening. Is this the proper place to get this resolved?
By the way since I did not have a chance to really test previous versions I cannot tell if this is typical behavior or something that only affects the current release of 4.6. Also I am running XP SP2 on both client and server so Vista is not a factor.

Workaround was to use Media Player to watch the files with no problems... there were no network spikes.

Re: Major stutter issue with Link 4.6

If media player displays the file well, you have a right to expect that Beyond TV will also.

Using 4.6 I can view files that are on a remote machine, but I have not tried to use link mode.
