Quick Q about Hiding Channels via Web Admin
K.
I know how to hide channels in a lineup, I just have a quiestion about what happens when I do that.
For example, I have Eight TV Tuners, and Two Chanel Lineups.
Seven of the tuners are set up on Channel Lineup A (Analog CATV).
One of the tuners is fed S-Video and RCA Stereo Audio from my CATV Box, and is set up on Channel Lineup B (Analog + Digital).
Both channel lineups were selections chosen from the choices given for my zipcode and CATV Provider during the Setup Wizard, and they are spot-on.
My CATV Box is set up in Web Admin as being "Use This one Last".
Now for the question.
If I choose to "Hide" all but one channel on Lineup B (Cable Box); ie: channel 123, what will happen when all seven of my Analog Tuners are recording something, and someone tries to watch a live TV Station that is not being recorded, and is not channel 123?
I'm asking this because:
1. We only like one of the "Cable Box Only" stations.
2. The OSD of the cable box is a pain in the neck to deal with, and I'd love to remove the Serial Cable that is connected to it, so no channel changing signals can be sent.
