DVD Burning Plugin Feature Requests

Firstly, I love the DVD plugin, especially the ability to make data dvds. But I would like to request some extra options.

1) When watching the dvd, the smartchapters become the dvd chapters. Thats a nice feature, but when you get to the last chapter and hit next it doesn't do anything. It would be nice if the dvd would just go to the next track by hitting next again instead of having to go back to the main menu.

2) I would like to have the option to autostart the dvd without stopping at the menu.

The reason for all this is we have a DVD player in our car, but we cannot see the screen. I normally use dvd shrink to take my kids dvds and make them autostart. This eliminates, taking your eyes off the road and asking a 3 year old, "What do you see? Do I need to hit play?". Also, having to hit menu and try to find "Blues Clues" on the dvd by hitting the arrow keys all while driving is quite hard.

The option for one long autostarting video with dvd chapters at the smartchapter marks and the video breaks would ROCK.

Good ideas. I'll throw in my request: enable the plugin on link machines, for those of us with BTV servers stashed away in closets, basements, etc.

All features I'd like to see, plus:

The most important feature for me would be the ability to not use only smart chapters, but also have the option to autogen chapters every X number of seconds (which could be specified on screen as well)

Super easy code to add and is the way I set things up when I make a dvd manually.

Smart chapters are nice, and its really cool when they work. But they generally only really work for some shows (for me anyway). I can't stand fast forward/rewind, the jump ahead/back 30 seconds button is the only thing I use in BTV.....

I would like to be able to manually adjust the smartchapters (without having to go to the xml file) before burning for those cases when it does not get it quite right. Some kind of slider where we could mark exactly where the chapter should be.
