DishTV and DirectTV work with BTV??

does BTV work with other forms of TV program suppliers such as DIshtv and direct tv?
is there any special part or programming that is needed?
how does the programming get loaded to my PC , is there a fee that i have t pay?

Yes, it does. Output of the satellite receiver goes to the tuner card. The difference in what you have and the satellite system is that the tuner card stays on composite or S-Video input. You would need to acquire the IR kit that sticks to the IR receiver on satellite receiver to actually change the channels. Programming guide is still delivered by way of the internet. There are default setups for each satellite service for your area.
