Nero Decoder

Trying to use this decoder and it looks like it will deliver good PQ, however there is no Deinterlacing going on. Any registry tweaks avail?

Re: Nero Decoder

I haven't tried this decoder, but I think one option is to select "3D Accelerated" under Playback Settings, and then "Hardware" for the Deinterlacing option. This takes advantage of what good video cards can do like the Nvidia 6600 & up, or ATI X1300 & up. Another option is to click on the hammer & wrench icon during playback and select a deinterlacing method there. I use the "3D Accelerated" & "Hardware" settings which prevents any deinterlacing changes using the "hammer & wrench" method.

Re: Nero Decoder

Tried that, but it doesn't seem to be Deinterlacing...strange.

Re: Nero Decoder

I had tried the Nero decoder, but it looked darker to me than the SnapStream one. The only one I have found to be better than the SnapStream in terms of quality is the NVIDIA decoder.

Re: Nero Decoder

Nvidia didn't really do it for me, but I didn't try with 3d accel. Maybe I'll give it another shot.
