Celeron 1.5 gig ok?
I want to use an old Dell laptop to record two or three newscasts a day. It's a Celeron 1.5 gig, with 512 megs of ram.
I'll use a hardware encoder with it. The above is slightly below what Snapstream publishes as a minimum for 4.0. Will it run reasonably well, recording standard def? Thanks, Scott Atkinson Watertown NY |

Re: Celeron 1.5 gig ok?
Never mind. I should really learn to read the FAQ better - it pretty clearly says that the chip is fine for analog. (I was reading the hd section.)
Doh...as people used to say a few years back... Scott A. |
