I am trying to use Digital Cable and analog cable at the same time using one PVR500mce and one PVR150. The PVR500 (dual tuner) is connected to analog cable (about 65 channels) and the PVR150 (single tuner) is connected to the Digital cable box (output channel 3).
The problem is that the TV listings show the analog channels and then a duplicate channel for the Digital tuner. i.e: History analog CH 45 and History Digital CH 129. The problem comes with the tuners and what order they should be in to record the correct stream. It should be: all Digital signals recorded on PVR150 (since you can only tune one channel at a time with a cable box and the PVR500 should record only the analog channels since you can record two different channels at a time on the dual tuner. How do you correctly setup both Digital and analog sources on one system? Any HELP would be greatly appreciated !!!!!!! Mike System contains: Ahanix chassis with 7" color screen ASUS M2N32sli motherboard AMD 4600+ x2 processor 2 Gig ram Nvidia 7600GT 256 DDR3 with dual DMI ports (one for 7" screen and one for the Samsung 26" HDTV) ....I want to add a second 7600GT in SLI mode but dont know if this will work.... Two 400 gig hard drives PATA (DATA) One 200 gig hard drive SATA (OS and Programs) ONe 400 gig hard drive eSATA (DATA) Plextor 16X DVD drive SATA Floppy with Media readers One PVR500mce Dual tuner One PVR150 Single tuner Firefly RF Wireless keyboard

Re: How to use Digital Cable and analog Cable at the same time?
You just need to have an analog lineup (basic) associated with both tuners of the PVR500 and a digital lineup (extended/premium) associated with the PVR150...

Quote:
Alternatively, if the lineups are already defined (either from the wizard or snapstream.net), you can also simply open up the web admin (http://localhost:8129), go to settings, with Audio and Video inputs you will be able to associate them, with Channels you can hide the un-needed channels.
