Add Episode Number to Filename?

Would it be possible to add the episode # to the filename so it makes it easier to check for gaps in a TV series? The date is nice, but its hard to tell since some shows take a break for a week or 2, so you don't know if it was a missed recording or repeat...

That would be nice, as it would save me from visiting www.tv.com to see if I did indeed record a series in it's proper order, and to make sure I haven't missed an episode.

Shouldn't be tough to do either, I assume the database could be updated to contain an episode number field. Most of the online guides have the # in the listing anyway.

Well, technically that information is already there, the last 4 digits of the EPGID contain the production number (you can see them with the addon in my signature). One problem though is that the production numbers, the airing order and the order intended by the author don't always match...

Very cool, thanks so much! Is there any way to add this to the file name (like many of the downloads have 2x01 for example in the filename)

I now see what you mean about the order, some of the shows aren't in order at all
