Dish DVR 625 with PVR150 Ir Blaster

Can anybody get the IR blaster on the PVR 150 to tune a Dish Network DVR 625? I also have a Dish 311 receiver that I may swap out and put this system on, so has anybody had any luck with that? I have everything all tel up, except the IR blaster, and with that, I've had nothing but problems.

Read thru the instructions slowly and several times. There are a few posts indicating this is possible and does work.

I have the same setup, I have everthing working with HIP, except I can't change channels atm from the MCE remote.

Is this actually possible? I've seen tons of claims its possible, but never anyone actually using a MCE blaster with BTV (IE: changing the channels with it, the whole point).

I have 4 MCE IR blasters that came with the HP150 cards I have. I gave up trying to get the blaster to work with BTV and a Dish 311. I just decided to save my hair and got a USB-UIRT that works perfectly. Incidentally, the USB-UIRT itself does work with the MCE's blaster extension, which provides a convenient way to attach to the sat box.

I'd be curious to know if you find a solution for BTV and the MCE IR blaster for changing channels, as it'd be nice to have some use for these things.
