Move Digital TV files?

With showsqueeze you can take mpegs from analog TV, convert them, and move them to a different folder. I know BTV doesn't like to convert digital TV mpegs, but is there a way to get it just to move them to a different folder?

Re: Move Digital TV files?

Beyond TV can convert HD files to DivX or WMV using Showsqueeze.

If you only want to move the files to a different BTV Video Folder, you can do that by configuring Showsqueeze to use "Copy" as the default format for Showsqueeze and tell it what folder to copy the show to and tell it to delete on completion.

Alternatively, you could do this with a simple batch file set up as a Post Processing task.

Something like this:

Quote:
@ECHO OFF
MOVE /Y %* "C:\videofoldertomovefilesto\"
EXIT

It can? When I go into showsqueze settings my only options are "do not automatically showsqueeze new recordings" and "automatically showsqueeze new recordings (non-HD only)"?

Re: Move Digital TV files?

You can't automatically showsqueeze all HD shows automatically, but you can set up individual shows (SD or HD) to automatically showsqueeze.

Re: Move Digital TV files?

I see. I guess I'll try that.
