hauppauge wintv-pvr-150 +beyond tv 4.5 + geforce 7600gs = pc locked up
when i open beyond tv my pc locks up -have installed the drivers for the hauppauge from the snapstream page are there conflicts with software and cards?

Similar problem. Have wasted many hours trying to get new FusionHDTV 5 RT Gold card to install properly with Gigabyte 7600 GS AGP card. Tried 2 driver pack versions from Gigabyte and 2 others from NVidia--none work, lock up you describe is a common symptom. Is this a 7600 GS problem? Let me know what you find out.

Did you try putting the 150 in different PCI slots?

yep have tried all pci slots for the tuner.
 ive even reformated this pc fresh install of windows, all up to date drivers, off the beyond tv site installed and locks up.. all windows updates directx and all

Beyond tv 4.5 EVGA geforce 7600 gs passive heat version No problem. I upgraded the video driver from the nvidia site to the latest driver. Before I installed anything else in the computer, I upgraded the power supply to 600 watts. Probably overkill, but those video cards can pull a lot of juice. I would recommend upgrading your power supply to at least 400 watts, and see if that solves the problem. Regards, Marc
