Recording Format
Is the only way to get a show into a windows media format by show squeezing or can you record in soemthing other than mpeg?

You can show squeeze to WMV or DIXV. If you have a DIVX capable capture device, you can capture straight to DIVX.

There are also cards that can record directly to WMV. I think those are all software encoders, so you need a pretty hefty CPU to handle it. I am not sure if there are hardware encoders that record in WMV, I can't remember of hearing of one.
