Suggestion: tuner prioritization feature

Here's something I'd like to see in an upcoming release: the ability to tell BeyondTv to record the selected show from the HD Tuner if possible, and then from an SD cable tuner if there is a conflict. I have one OTA HD tuner and two cable tuners, and this would come in handy.

Example: I want to record Criminal Minds (Wed 9PM) on CBS and Lost on ABC at the same time. Lost gets HD priority because ABC is on the crappiest channel on my cable system. But Lost isn't on next week, so I can record Criminal Minds in HD with the open tuner time. It would be great to have BTV always try to get Criminal Minds on the HD tuner and fail over to the cable channel whenever Lost isn't on.

Right now, the closest I can come is to schedule each OTA network show twice, with the HD feed immediately above the cable feed in the priority list. Then, once a week or so, I go through the upcoming priority list and delete all the duplicates.

Use record on any channel.

Setup the initial recording on an HD channel, switch the job to record on any channel.

It will do exactly what you want.

I've been so busy trying to get my newly upgraded system working properly (mostly hardware and driver issues) that I haven't had much time to explore the features in BTV4. That's great...and if the show in question is also in syndication, the "New Epsiodes" filter will make sure I don't get buried in old shows. Thanks!
