Possible to get a small box view on the program guide?

To be honest, one of the only things I liked better about SageTV was the small TV window you could get while looking at the programming guide. Beyond TV is better in every way IMO which is why I purchased it, but it would still be a nice feature to have.

I know that there is the background TV view to the programming guide when in 3d view, but in 3d view I get flickery playback that only goes away after fast forwarding/rewinding a few times - gets really old.

Is there any plugin I can use or maybe plans to add something like that in a future version? Thanks!

Nope. It's been talk about for a while but BTV doesn't have that function.
