Question Sporting Events

I like to record sporting events in BTV, but a lot of times they run over their alloted time. Without setting a half-hour "padding" (which also starts recording *before* the scheduled time), is there a way that I can extend the duration of a recording as selected from the guide, without setting up a manual recording?

Re: Sporting Events

When I watch NFL games they seem to always run over. Somehow BTV automatically knows they have been extended and keeps recording though. I think this only applies if you select the program to record via the program guide.

Re: Sporting Events

Go back in the Recording itself from the Viewscape:
Setup Recordings
Recording settings and priorities

select the recording

View and edit details
Change the value in "Stop the Recording"

Re: Sporting Events

I always just record the show after it. Seems safest.
