Resume Recording Suggestion
I'm not sure if this has been brought up as a suggestion but here it is. A few times when I was recording a show, my computer would suddenly freeze up and I'm forced to reboot (non-BTV related issues). When the system boots back up, BTV will continue recording the show, but would overwrite what has been recorded earlier. Would it be possible to have the recording resume with a new file (i.e. recording01.tp, recording02.tp, etc) in the next release? This way I can still see the entire show but with 2 files.

If it reboots unexpectedly, how would it know that it rebooted unexpectedly? I agree that the feature would be nice though. Why is your system rebooting though?

I have had this issue recently. Seemed to be caused by having a large number of recordings. I removed several folders for now and it seems okay. I believe this is a fix pending of 4.5?
I did notice that the show is recorded to a hidden file and is still there and still hidden after the reboot. I have never been able to watch the first (pre-crash) even after setting the file to not hidden. Perhaps the file is corupt?
