Tried BTV 4.4, but old BTV Link Said No, "RESTORED" to 4.3, Link gives HTTP Status404
Advise Please...
I upgraded 4.3 to 4.4 and of course my BTV Link 4.3 wouldn't connect with it. So, I used Windows to RESTORE my PC to a previous state and now I have 4.3 again (in theory, whatever those restore points can actually do). Wouldn't you know, now BTV Link gives me a "The request failed with HTTP status 404: Not Found." A. Is there an easy fix? B. If no easy fix, will reinstalling Beyond TV on my Server work? C. If I have to reinstall BTV, is there a way to maintain the settings/Upcoming Recordings? Spent enough time searching thru the forums to find this answer. Please help me. Danuuc

Any reason you didn't also update Link to 4.4?
Anyway, if you really want to go back to 4.3, then I would assume an uninstall/reinstall should work. You can backup your settings by right-clicking the BTV tray icon > About Beyond TV > Beyond TV Backup. After you re-install BTV you can use the "Beyond TV Restore to restore your saved settings.

The BTV server and the BTV Link are two different files. You should always upgrade both when upgrading versions.

I'm pretty sure that's what you want if you are upgrading the two (Beyond TV, and Beyond TV Link)
