New BTV from MCE...

Wow I had wrote a big long post and it didn't go through!

I'm new to BTV as well coming from MCE 2005 after reading the MaximumPC magazine (Oct issue) article they did on Beyond TV. Been running it for two weeks now and just two things I really miss that MCE had that maybe SS can put in for the future.

No live TV anytime while playing with options or setting up recordings. During commericals I like to play with the options or search for shows to record. In MCE you had the little live TV box in the bottom left corner. So when the show came back on I could hit TV button and POOF back to full screen live.

The other thing I really really miss is the auto record by keyword. If I put in Ashley Williams and nothing comes up that is that. I want it to auto record anything she is in or may be in for the future. If it's a conflict I'll take it off the upcoming recordings or if it's something I seen with her already I can take it off as well.

Both are good suggestions.

Currently, you can bring up a transparent guide above live TV by pressing "E" on the keyboard. You will need to be in 3D Accelerated mode for this to work. If you're using the Firefly remote, I beleive the "A" button does the same thing.
