Does SS recommend latest DViCO Drivers???

Dear Snapstream,

DVICO/FusionHDTV occasionally realeases updated software and drivers for their cards, currently they are on version 3.30.01

I am a few versions back. What is SS's position on upgrading, are there any benefits when only using Beyond products?

Obviously Dvico doesn't detail "fixes" that affect Beyond products specifically.

Re: Does SS recommend latest DViCO Drivers???

At this point -- we haven't really made a "statement" as far as Supported Drivers are concerned for various products.

We *may* in the future put out some type of FAQ as far as what we consider base-line drivers for particular tuners and whatnot...

What I'd advise is -- if its Working -- don't bother. The old "if it ain't broken -- don't fix it" always applies.

I agree with your position, but in my experience the new drivers were a must have. I have the USB version and earlier versions would just not work. I blue screened constantly.

The new drivers fixed it.
