Tracking a bad card

I have 2 identical PVR 250s in my BTV 4.2 setup.

Lately, one goes out to outer space when the box is rebooted and I have to re-install the Hauppauge drivers. Also, I've been having trouble with some records and I suspect the same card.

The trouble is: Which is which? Which card/software is on the fritz?

I seem to remember somebody developed an add-in which would project some diagnostic info. However, I haven't been able to find it in the Downloads section.

Can somebody help?

MJC

Re: Tracking a bad card

Does this happen on soft or hard reboots or both? When my machine does a soft reboot my 2 PVR 250's are found as "new hardware" and tries to have me reinstall the drivers. On a hard reboot everything works fine.
