Conflict Resolution in BTV 4.X

I must just be me, but I swear that ever since I upgraded to 4.x, I have lost 80% of the functionality of the recording Conflict resolution. Previously, If I tried to record a spot that would exceed the number of tuners I have (2), I would get a list of choices, including one that would show me the conflicts and allow me to raise or lower priority.

This choice is now gone and my only recourse is to navigate back to "Upcoming recordings" and figure out the conflict myself.

Is this, indeed, the case, or am I just being unusually clued out?

Give "BTV Negociator" a try. It's the best tool so far for conflict resolution. Not really something you can use with your remote, but at least it's a solution.

I will, thank you. Is that something that is part of BTV 4.x that I've not come accross, or do I get it elsewhere. Can I infer from your response that Sanpstream DID take that fucntionality out of 4.X?

Make sure you are using BTV version 4.2, they have not taken it out, but there were some bugs where the screen would not come up depending how you were creating the recording job. You can get BTV-Negociator in the download section, or just follow the link in my signature...

I will try this. I knew there were bug and I also read they were addressed in 4.2 (which I'm using) but I thought it was limited to when you didn't use the guide for recording.
