USB-UIRT to control BTV/BM?

I'm still digging through all the USB-UIRT search results, but wondered if maybe somebody knew the answer off hand. I'd like to use my Harmony remote to send an IR signal to the USB-UIRT for controlling BTV and BMedia. (I've got a Theatrix analog tuner card- so no IR input there.) Just wondering if BTV/BM will look for incoming IR signals OR if it is strictly for transmitting. If this is the case, then I suppose Girder is THE solution. thanks- Rob

If you want to use your remote, you will have to use Girder. BTV only natively sends IR out to a cable box.

thanks - as I suspected. Though I suppose the firefly Mini may be an alternative to getting in through the IR door, but at the price of limited functionality compared to Girder. - rob
