Recording LOST, arrrggg

What is the deal with Lost going to 10:01 in the Guide. This really screws up the conflict resolution. I have two other programs starting at 10:00 and I cannot record all three unless I set a manual recording of LOST from 9-10.

Who is reponsible for the data in the guide database Snapstream, Hollywood?? Is this a data entry error? I have had this issue with the last few weeks and it is annoying.
As a modification in conflict resolution It would be nice if I could override the end time during conflict resolution to stop this 10:01 crap from happening. I am using the lastest 4.2 beta but I had the problem with 4.1 also so I don't think it is a beta issue.

Re: Recording LOST, arrrggg

Well I guess I found my answer via seach it seems ABC is screwing us by scheduling to 10:01.

In any event it would be an easy fix for Snapstream to have a selection during conflict resolution to end at 30 minute increments aka X:00, X:30 etc.

Hell I am an experienced engineer '22 years' in C,C++,C#,.Net and I am pissed off enough to offer my services for free in developing that option myself.

Re: Recording LOST, arrrggg

You could just go into the recording settings, and tell it to stop recording Lost a minute early.

Re: Recording LOST, arrrggg

Of course I have to remember to stop the recording one minute early every week before it tapes or else it will not record. I have another recording starting at 10 on the same channel so it would be nice if I could just have it record to the nearest hour and avoid the scheduling conflict when I set the recording.

I did send ABC some 'love' mail to let them know how much I 'love' there '01' games.

Screw them I have two tuners anyway and one is on the same channel so BTV should allow me to record and ignore the last 1 minute. Even better would be to, post recording, move the first 1 minute from the second recording to the prior 1 minute overrun recording.

If you have Lost set to record all episodes or record all new episodes you only need to tell it to end one minute early once.

Send a copy to their advertisers as well. They lost us as fans of ER because of this bull****.
