Using BTV SE as Link - Success!

I am running BTV 3.74 on my HTPC. I recently purchased a Diamond PVR600 tuner, which included the FireFly remote, Beyond Media and BeyondTV "Subscriber Edition". I am using the Firefly & BM, but figured I had no use for BTV SE as I was already running the full BTV.
I wanted the ability to watch live TV & recorded shows on my laptop, so I was going to purchase a copy of Link. Then I remembered that copy of BTV SE that was gathering dust in my CD rack, I decided I would try to run this in link mode to connect to the BTV server on my main HTPC server - and it works! I installed BTV SE on my laptop (using the SE license that came with my tuner) then upgraded it to version 3.74. I then launched BTV from the command line using the /NETWORKCLIENT option, and it works perfectlly as a Link client.
I was concerned about the version mismatch (ie. full & SE versions working togehter) but it was not a problem. Thought I'd share as I'm sure other BTV users have an unused copy of SE that came with a tuner card. Enjoy your new Link PC!
