Lose audio on recordings

This has happened twice now - All my recordings after a certain point record video only the audio is not there. I'll have a week or more of successfully recorded shows and then POOF no audio on any of the shows. When I notice that the recorded shows have no audio - I'll try live tv and there will be no audio either. After I reboot the audio comes back.

I have a All In Wonder 2006 - wintv 4.0.0 build 2811, WinXPSP2, on a 512 meg Shuttle XPC with an AMD 64.

If I had to hazzard a guess, it seems to me that this problems manifests itself after a viewing session - and that maybe i have left the viewing session in a non beginning state. It seems that once I left it in the guide mode - and the other time i was viewing live tv and just pressed the red button on the FireFly and shut down the player. Neither iof which should have caused the problem. But what the hay - i am just guessing what the last thing I did was.

The two times were over two weeks apart. But both times it caused me to miss the current episode of Battlestar Galactica - my favorite program. Frustrating me at best, next time it happens i might just perform the bounce test with the computer. Hopefully I'll get some suggestion here before i have to resort to such drastic measures.
