No Sound From VCR Recording

I'm trying to record a VCR tape, and I have followed the post on how to do that. I get the video but I'm not sure how to hook up to get the sound.

Something obvious, but you do have an audio cable connected between your VCR and the capture card, right?

Re: No Sound From VCR Recording

I'm not sure how to connect the RCA audio to the capture card.

The caputre card has a line In. Stupid question, Is that where the Audio would go. If that is the case, I need to get an adapter to go from RCA to Mini-Jack. I never tried this configuration before.

Yes you will need an RCA to Mini-Jack adapter, if you are supplying the video through s-video or RCA as those only carry the video signal. Connecting with a coaxial cable (RF) would not need the extra audio cable as it already includes video + audio.
