HDTV file formats can BTV4 play?

Can BTV4 play HD files in .TS, .MPEG and .TP files? What format does it use for recording HDTV?

Also, can HDTV formats be Showsqueezed at all?

Thanks...

The extension used by BTV4 to record HD shows is ".tp". It's Mpeg2, transport stream format. I'm not sure if there is a difference between .tp and .ts files other than the extension used. Is there more than one Mpeg2 transport stream format? I don't know. However most utilities that work with Mpeg2 transport streams work with the stream recorded by BTV4.
