BeyondTV+Plextor+Fanless mini-PC anyone?

Now that BeyondTV supports Plextor's hardware divx encoding, has anyone tried building a silent (fanless) solution (e.g. Celeron M processor 1.7GHz)?

I don't need any video playback or viewscape capabilities on the BeyondTV unit - I do everything through the web interface. I just want to schedule recordings via the web interface, record in divx and run FTP server to transfer them to my playback PC (3500 miles away!).

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Re: BeyondTV+Plextor+Fanless mini-PC anyone?

This is somewhat OT, but I think I have gotten so accustomed to the white noise of PC fans running at night that it is hard to sleep without it now. When I was a freshman in college, I experienced "always on" internet for the first time, so the PC never needed to be turned off.

I will say that I've taken a tip from my grandfather-he places black electrical tape over the VCR clock since he can't program it... I place electrical tape over EVERY blue LED I can see in my house because they are so obnoxiously bright at night.
