Divco Light vs Gold HDTV tuner

Any opinions on the benefits of Divco Gold versus the Divco Light HDTV card? For that matter any opinions on the Divco vs. ATI HDTV wonder. I am running a ATI x600 all in wonder for analog tv input.

Those are the three cards I'm trying to decide between. I'm trying to figure out what differences they have and how it effects BTV.

Only advantage of the gold card seems to be the included remote.

The Gold also comes with the "[l]atest CX23882 as Analog TV and PCI interface chip" while the Lite gets the older Conexant Fusion878A. The Gold also comes with more applications. See:

Does the PCI chipset matter for the use of this card, what am I gaining on the newer chipset?

I believe the difference mainly has to do with analog color depth (it doesn't affect Digital TV because the encoding is already done by the broadcaster. The older card has only 8-bit depth while the Gold card has 10-bit color depth -- more accurate rendition of colors, something like that. Any experts reading this?

isn't the lite missing the Svideo input port or am I thinking of another card? I believe its there, just no hole drilled in the panel.

I myself use the Avermedia A180. Their software sucks thats why I was turned onto spending $80 for BTV4.1


the card I have works ok, normal 4:3 content plays back with some artifacts above and below the display when sent to my 2nd TV monitor. Officially I don't believe BTV supports this mode so I guess I'm lucky it just works.
