BTV 4, HDTV, 2 Dvico Fusion Lites, bad signal on 1 channel - HELP!

I am having a strange issue with BTV 4. When I was setting up 2 Dvico Fusion Lite5 cards with the newly released software. I get this specific HD channel on 1 card, and on the other card only this one specific channel it does not get. The channel is 1021, which is CBS here locally.

When it was doing the autoscanning on card #1, it found the channel with 90% strength. When I got to doing the autoscanning on card #2, it came back with a 0 strength. Kind of bizarre, considering the signal is coming via the same amplified antenna, across a splitter. Again, it only happened on one channel. All the other channels came in identically on both cards.

Any thoughts? I wouldnt be so concerned except there is a lot of stuff I record from CBS.

Thanks in advance,
Joey

Any chance of a bad splitter? Can you try swapping the outputs of the splitter to the opposite tuner and see if it follows the output on the splitter?

Re: BTV 4, HDTV, 2 Dvico Fusion Lites, bad signal on 1 channel - HELP!

How can I tell which HDTV fusion lite card was card #1 and which was card #2 when setting up the software through the config wizard? Because, if I have to test this, how can I verify channel signal on the cards without going through the config wizard? ( 2 tuners, how would I know which card is being used to watch which channel?)

If it was the splitter wouldnt the problem be on every HDTV channel, not just one specific one?

Wow, This sounds very close to a problem I have having. Any Luck?

config is:
1 Dvico Fusion Gold, BTV4,

I get all channels at 100%, but one at 0%. It finds it and then says 0% ???
All of the stations in this market are transmitted from the same place so how can one station be 0% and all others be 100%??? I think something is wrong in software but I dont know what?

It is possible that the station is broadcast on VHF not UHF and the antenna you have doesn't receive VHF signals. I have the same issue with CBS in Chicago.

I actually went ahead and moved my Antenna, and the problem went away. Unfortunatly, in the end I returned all parts and equipment as the responses from my system for fast forwarding and rewinding shows recorded was not up to my expectations.

I never heard back from Snapstream for the full version of software I purchased, and used one time. I wanted to return it since it did not work for me. It appears that I will never get a reply from them and have to eat the costs of Beyond Media and Beyond TV. /sigh

I have the same issue, and it is because CBS is VHS while the rest are UHF. I'm going to have to get a second antenna, and may point it to Rockford instead

Re: BTV 4, HDTV, 2 Dvico Fusion Lites, bad signal on 1 channel - HELP!

Ill check that about VHF vs UHF, but I don't think that is it, it is digital channel 49 (Is that UHF or VHF) But I did get the Engineer to tell me that they were only broadcasting at 49KW vs 500-1000KW for the other stations in town.

I even put a 46" UHF antenna on a 20 foot mast and still 0% signal. I did get 23% for an instant, but could not find it again.

I guess I am just not meant to get this station :-(
