Feature suggestion

When I got home tonight I checked my upcoming recordings and it was blank. I then checked the snapstream.net guide and it was in the process of downloading so of course after it got to a point of updating the guide I could see my upcoming recordings again. In new versions I would like to have the recordings saved independently of the guide so if my internet was down or ss.net was down my preset recordings will still happen.

My guess and only a guess is that the recordings only dissappeared after the update began. so if BTV was unable to connect to the server, the recordings would have not dissappeared.

Interesting point. Next time it happens I will stop the download and see if it comes back. None the less because of this it could still prevent a recording from happening if it was 7:58 pm and a recording was supposed to start then.
