VFD Support

that should be a quick one.

Since BM & BTV will be integrated products, will we have VFD & LCD support?

I'm dual-booting between BTV+BM and WinMCE 2005. I love Spapstream's features, but we have to agreee, MCE is a really nice product too. And my VFD is supported in MCE (via FrontEnd).

What we need is either native VFD support, or a frontend API so people can write a plugin.

BTVsmartie works up to the limitations BTV's backend, but doesn't work in BM.

Besides, if I watch something already recorded, BTVsmartie won't display the title (as MCE does)

I'm currently using 2 sets of IRblasters and 2 remotes (one set for MCE, one set for BTV), and I would like to pick one product and stick to it. But all the nice features in BTV might not be enough if I can't have my VFD

I don't need a timeline, but either

YES, there will be VFD support

or

NO, it's not planned in the near future.
